It all comes down to luck and hoping you just picked someone who actually comes through and gets a hit that day and doesn't choose that ONE day that you pick them to suck it up and go 0 for 4 at the plate.

Aww, come on. :D I think the Home Run one looks a hell of a lot more interesting, and definitely a hell of a lot tougher. Picking someone to get a hit, while tough, is going to be a lot easier to get correct and get on a streak than it will be trying to pick someone who you think is going to hit a home run that day.

Just this past Wednesday, Helton sat out while Giambi started at 1st. So I'd wait until the lineup is set before going with Helton for sure tomorrow.

Yeah, I had Mike Napoli on Wednesday and had the same thing happen. And I need to stop picking Troy Tulowitzki. On April 6th it took a 9th inning home run for him to get his first hit of the game, and last night it took a 9th inning double for him to get his first hit of the game. I can't keep going through that crap. :D

However, thanks to Tulo, sitting at a streak of 9, and got Matt Kemp for tonight.
