I just got it myself it's a hell of a deal. $30 off the price from yesterday, but I think it's a one day only Facebook promotion.

Here is the link. (http://www.amazon.com/ESPN-Films-Limited-Collector-Set/dp/B004OSVTRW/ref=as_li_tf_sw?&camp=212361&linkCode=wsw&tag=thegamtai-20&creative=380797)

Damn I wish I had an extra $50...

Damn, that's only $10 more than what I paid for Set #2. Though since Set #1 was a gift, waiting wasn't an option. Okay, but still ouch.

Sometimes when they drop the price, it could be permanent or for a couple of days later....

Was it the blue ray version?

Ah, Blu-ray version is a Best Buy exclusive, at least for now.

Explains why I couldn't find one on Amazon yesterday.

So, I'm watching Kings Ransom from this set at the moment. Pretty interesting considering I know jack shit about NHL besides who Gretsky is.

Yep, looks like it was a one-day only sale (for now) it's back up to $79.99.

Changed the title....til it goes on sale again....but this thread can be used to talk about the entire series....

The one that I missed and can't wait to watch is the SMU one. I really only caught two of them, so I'm very excited to get this. I think the only ones I saw were the USFL and the Tupac ones.

I want to get this, but I fear I would never watch them again. I'd really like the Blu-ray set. I may wait down the line until it's on sale again.

If this ever goes into Netflix Instant Stream, I'll just sell my set.

Just finished watching the episode about Jimmy The Greek. Incredibly sad but very interesting. Never knew Musberger started out as a NFL Today host.

Best Buy dropped the Blu Ray set to $60 :fp: at least Amazon's return policy is a piece of cake.....however Best Buy is currently on back order....so I might just keep the standard set anyways.

Yikes just read the Best Buy blu ray reviews and there are multiple cases of defective discs....

I was lucky enough to get the set as a Father's Day gift and I am very happy with it so far. I've heard bad things about the Blu Ray version as well. Heard it was a bad up conversion and doesn't look much better.

So far I've watched the Reggie Miller vs NY Knicks one and the June 17th (OJ Simpson/World Cup/NY Rangers/Knicks) one. The June 17th one is done very well. It is just sound bites from all of the events that took place that day, no interviews or present day clips.

The series is fantastic. Loved the Fab Five one, and look forward to the new one in October!

Didn't see this discussed anywhere else, but 30 for 30 is coming back!

Be sure to check out the trailer (http://espn.go.com/30for30/). Also, both the Grantland article and the site for the Trailer have the first "30 for 30 short" (explained in the Grantland article), about Pete Rose.

Aren't they just ESPN Films now? 30 for 30 was for their 30th anniversary.

It was, but it sounds like they're keeping the 30 for 30 branding with the return. They probably recognized that the "30 for 30" branding was really, really successful.
