After the record setting recruiting of last year, as of this week I have a grand total of 1 commit and it's a position that is not in my "team needs". I think Im about to land a guy and he skips town to go somewhere else!!! I have lost 2 CB's to other teams and.. uhh. I need 2 CB's

Recruiting isn't looking too hot for me right now.

Recruiting went well with insta-commits on Week 1 and hasn't done much of recent, I put 30+ minutes on a guy to watch him drop us to third despite being #4 in the country.

What a difference having a QB makes..

I put 30+ minutes on a guy to watch him drop us to third despite being #4 in the country. I'm sorry for how this is going to sound but ... so what? The recruit doesn't care that you're 4th in the country. Or, if he does, it's not for more than a handful of points every week. Probably even less than he cares about where he is on your board. And 30 minutes? The only people on my board that I have 30 minutes or less in are ones that nobody is going after. Most of the CPU teams, especially the lesser ones, are putting 60 minutes into their top prospects.

I know ranking doesn't matter, but I'm just staying we were junk last season and this year we're sitting good so far, and recruiting seems to be worse. With the minutes thing when you're splitting time for 15 guys, some guys can't get those 60 minutes, some do, some don't. I guess I'll just have to hope I can wow these guys on campus.

I'll get my recruiting done tonight. Does anyone know if it's a known issue that recruiting isn't showing up on the dynasty wire or I may just need to retire and come back in.

Playing my game now as the tourney has died down at the moment.

Just not a game that I ever want to play again. The CPU was all over me from the start and the things we had to overcome didn't help.

Cal beats #4 Sooners 41-20 with no luck from third string QB Blake Turner. I think we were 2-for-12 on 3rd downs.

The main killer: Probably roughly 10-15 drops, misfires, stupid passes, terrible overthrows. Any time we tried to run they would bring the house and bulldoze our offensive line.

Lee Williams got injured and so did backup Randy Smith.
