Hmmm....I have to give this one a lot of thought, throw out some nominees and such, but now that we have started a new decade, who was the best from 2001-2010.

Post your nomination, why, and what they've done....

Considering how scattered music is now and how there really aren't many bands pushing the envelop anymore (especially popular bands) I don't see how it is going to be possible to have a band of the decade. It isn't like with the Beatles, Elvis Presley, or even Michael Jackson where there is a clear cut band that beyond anyone else, they made their mark on music to the point of everyone knowing who they are and how they shaped music for everyone else.

Yeah this is a tough one. There really isn't any artist or music that holds value anymore. I think the big thing is there aren't any new styles of music developing, 80s hair metal, 90s grunge....

I may go beat the shit out of myself after posting this but I may have to say something like the Black Eyed Peas or Taylor Swift just for shear fact that they've produced multiple "hits". I will say that TS though may take the lead as she seems to do so much for her fans and really goes out of her way for them.

Man it's actually really hard to remember the beginning of this decade. I may also throw Nickelback out there(even though I only enjoyed their 1st album)

Sometimes I wish I was. :)

Their 1st album was awesome and then they sold out.

Yeah I guess I consider most of these from the 90s, late 90s. They did progress into the early 2000s but their best work was early on.

Thank you for that..... I can totally picture the scene at the club while listening to this song.

I usually tune out anything Nickelback anymore after the trash they were putting out, put this one's not bad.

It's definitely in heavy rotation at the club, but the rest of the album is TERRIBLE...and I'm usually leniant, but My Darkest Days' album SUCKS. Porn Star Dancing is the only good song on there.
