I'm probably going to lose at least two guys to WVU this week unless they lose to the 'Cuse. Not only did I not lose either player to WVU (despite WVU winning like 42-7), I didn't even get jumped on one of them.

I am so, so very confused about recruiting this year.

Go Buckeyes

Easy there......Lots going against the Lions in this one.

At the Shoe for another tough test and bringing in a 3rd string (maybe 4th string) QB should be a tough task for the Lions.

Newsome should be back by week 8 which will be a blessing. Bolden is done for the year it appears.

We have seen better games from the Hokies this year.
Yeah the score doesn't exactly represent the game does it.
All told the Hokies finish with 391 yards total offense compared with 314 from the Tarheels in one of the lowest totals of the year. 160 rushing yards is seriously under par for VT.
"Juice" did put up 215 passing yards and a TD. Wilson finishes with 141 yards on the ground.
McLaughlin was rather quiet today, 2 tackles ond one sack.
Yeah the Tarheels kept the freshman locked up on the line most all day.
"The Leach" did pull down one INT, but he was picked on all day, almost as if NC's Renner wanted to prove that he could beat the freshman phenom.
The game was deadlocked until late in the 3rd quarter, when the above interception turned the game around and the Hokies scored two unanswered TD's to put the game away.
North Carolina played very well in this contest and looked like they were well on their way to a victory.

So what lies ahead for the Hokies?
Well, that would be a date at home with the Seminoles of Florida State.
You know many people around the nation think that this will be the first real test for the Hokies; that they haven't played anyone yet.

Well I think Georgia Tech and North Carolina were tests and I wouldn't call Pitt a horrible team, they were ranked in the top 20 when they played, but this is definately the toughest test of the season thusfar for the Hokies. And with FSU coming off a rivalry loss last week, they may be on a mission of redemption against VT.

So your taking FSU on the Road

Yeah, I got to go with the Seminoles, It'll be intresting to see though how these freshmen who have played so fantastic thusfar will do against a true powerhouse team. Will they continue to put up unreal stats or will their inexperience finally start to show.

Calhoun sat after minor injury, Jones torches UCLA with 5 pass TDs in 44-24 win

Jermie Calhoun ran the ball 21 times for 79 yards and caught 2 passes for 27 yards and a TD in less than two quarters and a half of action as he was sat down to preserve after a minor injury which won't effect him in the long run.

Landry Jones had his finest day as an OU QB throwing 20 for 34 with 386 yards and 5 TDs. Erik Richardson caught 6 passes for 153 yards and 2 TDs. Musil 2-41-TD. Reynolds 4-75. Abrams 2-43. Stills 2-37-TD. Muse 1-15.

On defense, Jamarkus McFarland finally broke free from double teams and got a sack.

Ohio State's offensive woes against user teams continues early in the game against Penn State, as they spot the Nittany Lions 14 points early in the first quarter, with two turnovers in their own end. Penn State also utterly stymied the Ohio State running game early, which further complicated things for the Buckeyes.

Final score was 41-27, Penn State, as both defenses gave up plenty of points, but the 14 point lead was too much to overcome.

Good game Jeff, once I got up early it really took the pressure off 3rd string QB Paul Jones as he finished 8 for 12 and managed the ball very well for the Lions.

Dukes was the Star though 21 carries for 145yds and 3TDs.

OSU was able to use Lumpkins size and hands very well in the game. The early fumble was key as things started going PSU's way early.

Ray Willis is going to be very interesting to watch on advance.

Oneback and I are both 100% according to the Wire; according to the Console I'm behind by the mythical 1 point. He was soft to Oneback going into this week (and last).
I rolled 742 points on him this week, but I'm probably going to have a pretty bad visit grade.

Michigan takes down Wisconsin 35-28.

At the half the Wolverines had over 300 yards of offense but only lead 24-14. In the second quarter the Wolverines were poised to score but quarterback Tate Forcier made the wrong read on a Levels concept and threw inside to the dig route which Wisconsin free saftey Antonio Fenelus jumped for the interception. If Forcier had looked backside Fenelus had dropped the coverage on tight end Brandon Moore on the post route who would have ran in for a long score as there wasn't a defender within 15 yards of him. Two plays later Wisconsin quarterback Curt Phillips found wide reciever TJ Williams open in the endzone to make the score 24-14.

With just under 10 seconds in the first half Michigan lined up in a 5-wide formation and again ran the Levels concept, Fenelus again jumped the in breaking dig route and left true freshman wide reciever James Ferguson wide open on the post route, however Furguson was only fast enough to get 63 yards falling 7 yards short of a touchdown.

In the second half things got interesting late when Wisconsin was able to move ahead of Michigan 28-27, but on the ensuing drive Forcier found reciever Darrly Stonum, the underneath reciever in the Levels concept who took the ball 80 yards for the game winning score. This time Fenelus staied over the top to cover the post route and Stonum was able to find just enough room to break through the crease for the score.

Great game g, as I said over text, it looks as though we will be splitting home games this season. Good luck the rest of the season.

Michigan Offense:
Total Offense: 472 yards
Rushing: 26-170-1
Passing: 13-21-3 for 302 yards

QB Tate Forcier - 13/21 302 yards, 3 td and 1 INT
HB Nick Cleveland - 18 car 99 yards
HB Michal Cox - 5 car 73 yards
WR Darryl Stonum - 3 rec 112 yards 2 td

Our game was much more defensive than I thought it would be. Even though we lost, to hold your RBs for only 80 yards was a big deal.

Definitely....with the way I've been playing D in user games lately....and when I checked out your front 7's ratings....I just knew I was gonna be able to run the ball with ease. I've been having that consistency problem with Earl....it's either 15 yards or 1 yard....I should've seen what Hopkins could do as he seems to be more consistent....I just wait for Campbell to bust one for 60....lol
