Oregon's defense got them the win today, as the offense was rather stagnant 31-3.

Ken-Yon Rambo takes Wyoming's first punt of the game back to the house, then returns the second for a 36 yard swing.

That was unexpected.

I know it may not be feasable but if everyone can try to play their week one game soon, Papa and PSU may be able to play their week 2 game tonightJust so we don't feel disappointed if this doesn't get done, I play Papa in Week 3, so it'd be next weekend before we get to that game anyway ...

Ohio State rolls over Wyoming 55-0. With only two minutes gone in the first quarter, Ken-Yon Rambo had individually racked up 125 all-purpose yards and 2 TDs while Wyoming was standing at -3 total offense. Rambo would cool down the rest of the game, but the rest of the offense took his lead, racking up 469 yards, including 275 on the ground.

Heisman hopeful running back Pepe Pearson started off on the right foot, rushing 25 times for 172 yards and 1 TD.

Escobar:

There are only 7 people that the dynasty actually recognizes as being members... the rest are obviously members but I'm willing to be that there are 5 of us whom are not able to set Ready. Additionally, I'm not able to access the OD on Dynasty Wire... it constantly says "Retrieving Online Dynasty..." with the 'hourglass' spinning. With that in mind, I'm going to retire from the dynasty, then re-join and see if that doesn't fix it for me.

I retired and then re-joined the OD... thankfully it kept all of my target list, etc. Additionally, I am able to now set Ready and also able to access the OD via Dynasty Wire. I recommend to anyone having odd problems with either, you do the same, especially now in the preseason.

PSU comes out and hands USC a big loss to start the year. Beachum and Dukes provided the early sparks and the Lions were able to hold on for the win 28-24.

B. Beachum 17 carries for 142yds and 2 TD
C. Dukes 2 carries for 62yds and 1 TD before leaving the game in the first quarter with a stinger. Should be cleared for the game next week against Texas.

K. Newsome was 8 for 10 and 126yds, well not big numbers he was very effective.

PSU's young defense held the rushing attack of USC to just 1.35yds per carry last night. The defense also held USC to under 25% for third down conversions.

USC had it's chances late, as they took the lead 24-21 with 6:36 left in the 4th. However PSU methodically drove right down the field to regain the lead with 3:22 left in the ball game as Newsome kept the option for the score. USC's QB FR Walker was very good tonight at times, but on the final drive of the game he missed a couple of wide open WR's that surely could have gone the distance. USC should only improve from this point forward.

USC's Freshman QB just couldn't get it done in the end.

Good game Snoop - PSU went up 14-0 in the 1st quarter on 2 long runs by Dukes and Beachum. USC didn't give up though and tightened up the defense and the offense got going. PSU defense was very stingy on the running game but True Freshman QB Joe Walker game out gunning and brought USC back to take the lead in the 4th. PSU retook the lead and then the freshman in Walker came out. Walker missed a wide open DJ Woods on a post to the sideline with nobody within 20 yards of him. 3 plays later the USC offense coordinator hoped to catch PSU in the same defense and ran the play again. Again Woods was wide open and Walker just couldn't hit him.

Overall good game by the Freshman but he needs to get better. He missed 3 big throws. 1 at the end of half to a wide open Kyle Prater in the endzone - just couldn't get it over the LB and it ended up being picked. And then the 2 at the end of the game.

Yes it does still end the same. I won't be home till roughly 12:00am est anyways so no rush as long as your good and I don't hold you up.

I knew USC would choke, playing big games has been an issue for that coaching staff for years. Let's hope that fixes itself over time, but right now there are a lot of rumblings on the radio asking if they need to find a replacement for this coaching staff.

I hope so, well that Michigan wins...I need all the wins I can get right now. But the game is at the Rose Bowl and if last year showed anything USC is a tough team to beat despite what Oregon State has been able to accomplish.

I was pleasantly surprised he came in as an 84. I can't remember his passing attributes and can't log into the site to see but they are pretty decent and even. He was the #2 QB overall last year and it looks like the #1 that Papa got came in at an 85 so I'm pretty happy. The big thing about Walker is his speed is an 88, so if the play breaks down I should be able to improvise.

Last night against PSU he shrugged off 3 sacks. Two of the times he got hit immediately after by another guy but one time he did step up and make a nice throw but my TE dropped it. Probably should have taken off up the middle though.

Penn State did blitz a bunch, pretty much every play. My line held up pretty well on pass protection. What did you have Snoop 2-3 sacks? I may need to make some changes on my line though - that's the tough thing about user games to start, can't get a gauge on position adjustments.

I think I got 4 total but a ton of pressure all game.

I blitzed that Freshman about 2/3rds of the time when I was guessing Pass. I don't know if your passing route lines were shaking or not, but that was my plan with the pressure.

They were not. This kid has been in pressure situations his whole life. Grew up in Ohio and played in the state championship game twice at the Browns stadium, one time it was against St. Ignatius High School from Cleveland and the stadium was packed with hostile hometown fans, he won that game on a 65 yard strike as time expired. Also dominated in the U.S. Army game and played a great game in the Big 33 Classic but they lost to PA.

Plus the game was in LA so he didn't get too rattled.
