Looks like Papa got his wish... only we're not meeting at #1 vs #2 like he had hoped. Papa, when are you available? I know your schedule isn't that flexible but I can work with you on it including during the day if that helps. Just let me know what works.

It's interesting, OB, that during the CCG week, I was predicted to face UT and I think you were predicted to face SCar.

No Boise State magic this year. The USC Trojans down Boise State 35-13 in the Rose Bowl. Despite giving up 397 passing yards to Kellen Moore the Trojan defense shut out the Broncos in the final 3 quarters.

Barkley 272 yards 1 TD
Tyler 97 yards 2 TDs
Flourney 6 catches 77 yards 1 TD

Michigan wins the Outback Bowl 28-0 over Tennessee. The offense puts up 410 yards while the defense limits the Vols to 96. Tate Forcier heard the rumors about Devin Gardner taking over the offense next year and came out on fire hitting 14 of 22 attempts for 225 yards and a touchdown and Nick Cleveland added 105 yards and a touchdown, but the stars of the game were outgoing Senior linemen Mike Martin and Ryan Van Bergen who combined for 11 tackles, 4 sacks, 5 tackles for loss and a forced fumble.

Papa & I tried to play tonight but 4 attempts DC'd as soon as lined up for the kickoff, on the 5th attempt, I managed to return the kick, line up for the first play of the game, and then it DC'd. We're going to try it again tomorrow afternoon at 4pm, if not then 11:30 tomorrow night.

Anyone ever run into this before? We're both direct connected to our modem so that shouldn't be an issue. We both restarted our modem so that shouldn't be the issue. Tried not making any uniform changes (to Papa's chagrin)...

Skip and I had that same exact problem last year, the only thing that solved it was to pause the game after you picked your return play and before it froze. We tried probably 6 or 7 times to play the game before pausing. There were no issues the rest of the game.

LOL setting up the big matchup.

This will give Miami some time to get decked out in their military gear prior to getting off the plane...oops that didn't work so well the first time they tried that.

Nah I'm just hyping my guys up telling them lies about what your players are saying. Right now I need to figure out how I'm going to defend your 5 WR sets because this isn't going to be an easy task that is for sure.

I'm going to show as starting my game twice. I intended to watch the pre-game cut scenes since it's a bowl, and then promptly skipped them the first time.

Ohio State lost its offensive coordinator after the Big Ten season completed, as he left to take over for Ron English at Eastern Michigan.

Under their new offensive guru, the Buckeyes had a successful debut, rolling up 406 yards and 41 points.
Meanwhile, the Ol' Ball Coach was held scoreless, leading to a 41-0 victory for Ohio State.

QB Joe Germaine led the way, going 17-25 for 282 yards and 4 TDs.

Jacory Harris went 14-26 for 277 1 td and 2picks

Lamar Miller 13 carries 120yrds 2td. maybe the 2nd time this season someone from the U went over 100yrds

Play of the game was Stephfon Green fumbling on the 3yrd line on his way in to go up 7. Miami Capitalized and scored with 22 secs left. 3 passes and a PI call later PSU had a chance from their 34 to score. the heave was knocked down to seal the deal

Great game Tex, oh that fumble.....Geez.

I really don't think this hurt me much if at all but I lost my QB Newsome in the second Qtr and he was on fire 9-10 to start the game.

Funny play was with 26 seconds left Tex was facing a 2nd and goal and I was completely out of Time Outs. He could have taken a knee and kicked a fg to win the ball game, but he called a play so I called a 44 FS Blitz in the hopes I could choose the play wrong and allow him to score the TD. I called run left, and I was wrong but his RB was in the open field so much I think it shocked him as he stopped then turned up field and went in for the score. First time I ever left someone score the TD, but it was pretty cool because with 22 seconds left PSU had 2 chances to tie the ball game up after a key PI call. From the Miami 34 , but the two attempts were deflected away securing the win and the National Championship for Miami.

Well played, now the hard work begins as PSU will be in a rebuilding phase next year. The defense will be changing things up a little bit......
